We made our way down the Pacific coast a bit today and the scenery was just beautiful. I'd never been to Northern Cali before this trip, so I didn't really know what to expect. Everyone had told me that it's nothing like LA, and boy were they right! The temps were a little too chilly to jump out and take a swim in one of the many beaches along the way, but we did stop in Davenport, CA, a little roadside town for lunch at Davenport Roadhouse Restaurant & Inn.

We settled into at Mission Inn & Suites, put on our walkin' shoes, and headed out for about a 2 mile walk to the wharf. The weather was perfect, but we knew enough by this time to grab a sweatshirt just in case. We saw seals hanging out under the wharf and they were CHATTY!

We grabbed a drink at a tiki bar and then made our way back up the pier a little before grabbing a quick dinner. We even caught the sun setting behind the building before heading over to the amusement park.

The amusement park was getting ready to close by the time we got there, but that didn't stop us from walking around to see this iconic location where The Lost Boys was filmed.

We headed back on our 2 mile walk back to our hotel before the vampires came out!

We hope you enjoy! The adventure continues...
